The summer is so much fun that we forget to post! So without further delay...here's a quick update to our July adventures:
We have been playing at the zoo a lot! With an annual membership, we like to go all the time. Elsa and Jonas have a new found love of the Captain Adventure live action animal show. We have seen it four times and they still love it. (Some of the animals change each time but it is the same show each time:). Lots of fun to see them having so much fun! They loved getting to pet the super dog after the show!
This past weekend was Day out With Thomas! The train day with Thomas is a highlight of the summer. Jonas loves to play with the trains all day and Elsa loves to hear Eric Ode sing! We had a lot of fun with our friends at the event. It was a great day and well worth the drive to Snoqualmie. Elsa was really excited to get her tattoo (temporary)!
We took a day trip up to Seattle to check out the Science Museum! Jonas and Elsa saw dinosaurs! There was a mammoth butterfly room that was really neat to check out. We had butterflies landing all over us!
Elsa and Jonas have been doing word work every day and it is really amazing to see how they both are really growing stronger with their letters and sounds and sight words. It is really special to see them learn and work hard.
Jonas and Elsa came to watch Dan in his play and had a great time. Dan laughed because he was standing right next to them during the show and they were so entranced in the main action on the stage that they didn't even notice him!
We like to do lots of activities but ultimately we like to be together! It is great to have so much time to play and laugh!
We do have some medical updates for the summer. Elsa is going to have a tooth pulled next week and will have her tonsils pulled this summer. We pray for a quick recovery.
