Children's Museum & Strawberry Picking!

Greetings!  The summer is great!  Each morning Jonas and Elsa ask, "what are we going to do today?"  And each day we try to do something fun-educational-adventurous-exciting...

This past week we...

...played at the children's museum in olympia.  This place is awesome.  At the mere mention of it, Jonas and Elsa erupted into cheers!.  It was a ton of fun playing in fire trucks, sending boats down a giant water table, climbing up a tree fort and sliding down a huge slide, performing on a stage, and lots more.  It was a huge hit and we will be back again this summer.

...picked strawberries at Picha Farms in puyallup.  The strawberry season is drawing to a close and we wanted to make sure to make it for one strawberry picking adventure.  Several strawberries were eaten during the picking process.

...checked out some library events and got lots of books to read.

...hooked up the sprinkler system and played in the water!

...played in the dirt!

A day at the lake

Greetings!
A couple of weeks ago we were contacted to be a part of a promotional brochure for the NICU.  We were very excited to share our story and jumped at the opportunity.  The picture below is our page of the brochure.  Jonas and Elsa did a great job at the photo shoot and the photographer picked a good one for our page.  Check it out!

Father's Day

Greetings!
A great day to celebrate being a Father!  Jonas and Elsa remind us every day how lucky we are to be parents to two wonderful, hard-working, smart, strong, and funny kids.  In fact, we have been so busy chasing after the kids that we have missed the past two weeks of blog updates.  The kids are great and doing amazing things.  Practicing sight words, riding bikes, singing loud, singing quietly, helping others...the list goes on.

The truth is we are lucky and blessed to get this one go around to be the best parents we can to Jonas and Elsa.  We stumble, we get it right, we get it wrong...and we try our best.  It is a wonderful adventure.

God Bless,

Dan & Mari & Elsa & Jonas
