Are you for flu?

Greetings!
Elsa and Jonas had a great week at school.  This is becoming the norm and we are very proud of their hard work and determination.  It is fun to see them smiling in the morning when we mention that it is time to go to school.

We have mentioned from time to time that Elsa and Jonas qualified for some extra support with language development.  Both kids had yearly goals set for them last December for what they would be doing in a year's time in terms of communication.  We are so proud to report that both kids have already exceeded their goals for the year with months to spare.  They will be reevaluated in a couple of months but it doesn't seem likely that they will need additional help going forward.  Way to go!

This weekend was great!  We attended a PLU football game and watched them win in style against UPS.  Jonas and Elsa really took in all the action at the game.  There was an ambulance next to the field that they both were really interested in checking out.  We always tell them that they rode in an ambulance the day they were born and they are just fascinated with all the lights!

Late Saturday, we noticed Elsa was a little congested.  Saturday night and sunday morning there was lots of runny noses, coughing, and other cold symptoms.  We have a couple of days ahead of us of the flu.  It is good that they are so strong and able to fight flu off!

God Bless,
Mari & Dan & Elsa & Jonas
